About the IABSI register

The IABSI Register is used by a wide range of people and organisations, including those:
  • assessing tenders
  • conducting public procurement
  • checking credentials throughout the market supply chain
  • confirming if an organization, product, or person has been certified or inspected by an IABSI accredited body.

We also use the register as a tool to better understand trends in the world of certification and we publish reports for certifiers and inspectors to keep them up-to-date.

You can use the IABSI Register to search for:

ACCREDITED CERTIFICATION AND INSPECTION BODIES

Bodies that have been accredited by IABSI for conformance assessment duties.

CERTIFIED ORGANISATIONS

Organizations that have been independently certified or inspected by an IABSI accredited body and been issued with an authentic certificate.

CERTIFIED PERSONNEL

Personnel organizations that have been independently certified by an IABSI accredited body.

CODEMARK REGISTER

Certificates of conformity for CodeMark accredited bodies.

We keep the registry as up-to-date as possible. In keeping the register, however, we depend on information supplied by accredited bodies that have been inspected or certified. We do not change or modify the information provided.

We also keep a list of known cases of Misuse of the IABSI Symbol.

Can’t find an organization, product, or person on the register?

This means they:

  1. do not hold an authentic IABSI accredited certificate
  2. have not yet been added to the register (until they are you should not count on the validity).

Do you have a copy of what appears to be an IABSI accredited certificate but cannot find it on the register?

It could be the certificate is fraudulent. In this case:

  1. Contact the certification or inspection body direct to discuss the matter (in the first instance).
  2. Send IABSI a copy of the certificate for our inspection.

Please note: From time to time IABSI receives complaints from the marketplace regarding organizations that are misusing the IABSI symbol.IABSI investigates these complaints and, in instances where the misuse of the symbols is confirmed, takes action to require the organizations to withdraw this information from the marketplace.  This may include legal action where warranted.
